Holly needs your help recovering from a traumatic attack

Hello,

My name is Tonielle and I'm reaching out today with a heavy heart and the highest of hopes to ask everyone for your help. My mother, Holly, 56 years old, was very recently the unsuspecting victim of a vicious and nearly fatal dog attack. The attack, which was carried out by a pitbull belonging to her best friend, landed my mom in the ICU on life support with life-endangering injuries to the entire right side of her face and neck. She suffered 11 inches of lacerations on the inside and outside of her face, multiple puncture wounds to the throat, and her jaw was broken in 15 different places. She's still unable to speak or eat solid foods due to the fragile condition of her jaw.

Although her road to recovery is just beginning, her doctors and surgeons are looking at releasing her from the hospital as soon as next week sometime. While my two younger brothers and I are so thankful she's doing well enough to be released from the hospital, this attack on her has left my mom not only physically suffering but it has put her in an even worse spot, financially, than she was in prior to the attack.

My mom was already struggling to find a job as well as somewhere to go when the pitbull nearly killed her. Now, on top of being homeless and jobless, she has hospital bills piling up by the day, attorney fees, and day-to-day expenses she can't possibly handle by herself with no help at all. She can't even reach out for help on her own anymore, so here I am... humbly asking everyone for donations to help my mom get back on her feet upon being released from the hospital and to help with her medical bills, housing costs, attorney fees, and daily expenses.

Any amount, no matter how small, would make the most tremendous difference in helping an innocent, kind, struggling, older woman get back on track and live to tell her story as a survivor! My mom is the most kind-hearted, genuine, loving, caring, and giving woman I've ever known. She didn't deserve this, but she does deserve help. So please, with the most sincere of hearts, we ask for everyone's help.
