Holly's breast cancer journey, you can help.

In the space of two weeks, Holly and her family’s world has literally been turned upside down. Hols noticed a lump and got it checked by her GP and since that appointment only weeks ago she has had her breast removed, lymph nodes removed and will soon start a course of aggressive chemotherapy treatment which could take up to 6-8 months. Our darling friend has a huge Breast cancer journey ahead of her and we don’t want her to walk it alone.

She’s been supported by her incredible husband Jay and getting the best Mumma cuddles and kisses (although mainly through FaceTime from her hospital bed) by her Leni (1) and Banksy (3).

She has a beautiful support network around her in Byron of friends and her Parents, but this cannot be all on their shoulders.

Jay and Holly both have their own business’s to run but everything now has to be put on hold so Holly can recover and prepare for some of her darkest days. Jay is going to put his work obligations on hold to care for and support his wife and family indefinetly. The financial burden and the stress of it shouldn’t even be something they have to worry about. Her best friends simply feel it’s not fair and know there are so many people that want to help this awesome little family out in some way.

The reality is the medical costs already are high, Holly can’t work, her babies are just that… babies that need looking after when Mumma is too sick she can’t take care of them.

An extra pair of hands will have to be bought in when friends and family can’t be there as much as we all wanted to be there 24/7.

Holly has given so much back to the community and even at the age of 12 when we met her she was the most selfless, caring friend you would ever meet, we think it’s time for some of that good karma to come back to her.

Her presence and light will continue throughout all of this but she needs your help to get through.

Holly and Jay are very proud and would never ask for help themselves, but as their close friends, we know their situation and know anything you can support with will go a long way in the journey ahead.
