Holly’s Cancer Recovery
Donation protected
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read. My name is Holly and I am 29 years old. I was recently diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer of the appendix. This is a very rare and often complex illness, occurring in 1-2 people per million each year. Due to its rarity, it is often hard to diagnose and can go undetected for years. I have had worsening symptoms for 7 years and have been unable to work in over a year due to this condition. My loving wife, CheyAnn, has worked tirelessly in that time to provide for us and our son. Unfortunately about 2 months ago my symptoms worsened and she has taken significant time off work due to the many appointments it took to diagnose my cancer. Last Friday (8/18) I underwent an open bowel resection and am currently still hospitalized. We anticipate 6 weeks of recovery at home once I am discharged, during which time I will not be able to care for our son and will need assistance in caring for myself. So far, my recovery has been extremely difficult; I am heavily reliant on CheyAnn and will be even more so at home.
I am asking first and foremost for prayers and/or well wishes for myself and my loved ones during this time. If you are able to, I am also asking for donations so that my family can stay together during my recovery and through any further treatment I may have to have. Any donations we receive will be used for medical supplies, basic necessities, transportation costs, and bills. Thank you and God bless ♥️
