Holly Kennedy RIP

Holly Kennedy , my friend died . She was a Mum of a little boy , and was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer ( very aggressive and fast growing breast cancer) in December 2016 at age 32. She found her lump whilst breast feeding. A mother’s WORST nightmare. Happy Magazine ( her magazine ) is the resource she longed for when she was going through her own treatment - the tool to show her how you can still be happy, even during cancer. Holly created the magazine to distribute to anyone with cancer FOR FREE, and it was published every 3 months, with fabulous interviews from the likes of Brian Kennedy, Domini Kemp etc. Holly had a relapse In summer 2019, with the cancer in her liver, lungs and bones. A pharmaceutical company called CYTODYN in USA felt they may have a breakthrough treatment for triple neg cancer. The drug is called Leronlimab. It had been fast tracked for approval , Holly tested and has scored very well for a good response. Holly commenced the drug 2 months ago. Holly said a GO FUND ME would be a massive help as she was self employed, as is her husband who became her main carer. Holly died 1/9/20. Holly has produced Irelands FIRST Cancer Journal , a beautiful journal/plan for ALL oncology patients, or to give as a gift to anyone who has had a recent diagnosis.
