A Fully Sustainable Film Studios in the Philippines

Donation protected
Our aim is to create the first completely sustainable film studios complex in the heart of the Philippines. Our mission is to:

1. Create a zero carbon emission multiplex film studio.
2. Generate electricity using hydro and hydrogen generators to power the studios and surrounding houses.
3. Create jobs for the youth and encourage climate action.
4. Provide opportunities for local businesses.
5. Build a recycling centre on site.

What have we got so far?

- Access to land and 2 buildings to house workers.

What do we need?

- We are looking to raise one million US dollars to build this site.

These are the financial breakdowns:

- Hydrogen generator: $200,000
- Land for studio: $100,000
- Buildings: $200,000
- Vehicles (all electric): $200,000
- Equipment: $300,000

Where will we build this?

- We are planning to build in Bindoy, Negros Oriental, Philippines.
- We have a good relationship with the local government in this area.

Invisible Sword Ltd, a limited liability motion picture production company in the UK is seeking to raise £5.5M in order to finance the production and marketing
of the original feature film, Pilgrim, due to be filmed in Europe and distributed throughout film markets in December 2026. We are shooting in both 2D and 3D formats. Notably, the 3D version will be projected directly from the cinema
screen without the need for glasses, an innovation aimed at reducing plastic waste and protecting the environment.
Loosely inspired by John Bunyan's The Pilgrim’s Progress, this fantasy space adventure chronicles Pilgrim's quest to escape the devastation of Harmatia. This futuristic world has suffered under the tyrannical rule of Appolyon, who
has ravaged the atmosphere with factories and fossil fuel power plants. Follow Pilgrim's journey as he strives to reach the sanctuary of the Star System Celeste.
Investment Required: £5.5M ROI: 120% or 15% Shared Profit
If you wish to give to this project, please donate to the studios and we will contact you with our information.

"3D without glasses," also known as glasses-free 3D or autostereoscopic 3D, is a technology that allows viewers to experience 3D visual effects without the need for special glasses.
We will be using Light Field Displays: Advanced technology that projects multiple perspectives of the scene, allowing for a 3D experience without a specific viewing angle.

Positive Environmental Impact:
1. Reduction in Plastic Waste:
Traditional 3D glasses, often made from plastic, contribute to environmental pollution. By eliminating the need for these glasses, glasses-free 3D technology reduces plastic waste, which is particularly important given the global concerns about plastic pollution and its impact on marine life and ecosystems (C40 Cities) (C40 Knowledge Hub).
2. Decreased Single-Use Items:
In many cinemas, 3D glasses are single-use or require significant resources to clean and sanitize between uses. Autostereoscopic 3D eliminates this requirement, further reducing waste and the environmental footprint associated with the production and maintenance of these glasses.
3. Enhanced Viewer Experience:
Beyond environmental benefits, glasses-free 3D can improve the viewing experience by eliminating the discomfort or inconvenience that some viewers experience with traditional 3D glasses. This could potentially lead to greater audience engagement and a preference for 3D films, indirectly supporting the film industry's sustainability efforts by promoting technology that reduces waste.
Overall, glasses-free 3D technology offers an innovative solution to enhance visual experiences while positively impacting the environment by reducing plastic waste and the resources needed to produce and maintain traditional 3D glasses.

Investing in making a film in the Philippines offers numerous advantages due to the country's unique combination of resources, talent, and supportive infrastructure. Here are several reasons why the Philippines is an attractive destination for film production:

1. Diverse and Scenic Locations:
The Philippines boasts a wide range of stunning natural landscapes, including pristine beaches, lush forests, dramatic mountains, and vibrant urban environments. This diversity provides filmmakers with a variety of shooting locations without needing to travel far (C40 Cities).
2. Cost-Effective Production:
The cost of film production in the Philippines is generally lower than in many Western countries. This includes lower expenses for labour, equipment rental, and location fees, making it an economical choice for both independent and big-budget films (C40 Knowledge Hub).
3. Skilled Talent and Crew:
The Philippines has a pool of talented and experienced film professionals, including directors, producers, actors, and technical crew. The local film industry has a long history and a welldeveloped talent base that can contribute significantly to high-quality productions.
4. Government Incentives and Support:
The Philippine government, through agencies like the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), offers various incentives and support programs for filmmakers. These include tax rebates, logistical assistance, and support for permits and regulatory compliance.
5. Cultural and Historical Richness:
The Philippines has a rich cultural heritage and history that can add depth and authenticity to films. The local culture, traditions, and historical sites can provide unique story elements and settings that enrich a film's narrative.
6. Growing Film Industry:
The local film industry is growing, with increasing recognition at international film festivals. This growth has led to improvements in infrastructure, such as better production facilities and postproduction services, making the country more attractive for filmmakers.
7. Favorable Climate:
The tropical climate of the Philippines allows for year-round filming, reducing weather-related disruptions. This can be particularly advantageous for tight shooting schedules.

By leveraging these benefits, filmmakers can produce high-quality films while potentially reducing costs and adding unique value through the Philippines' diverse settings and rich cultural backdrop.
