Holman family fire recovery fund
Donation protected
On the afternoon on July 31 a roof fire started at the home of Al and Rosemary Holman on Holmes Avenue in South Minneapolis. Firefighters were able to put down the blaze swiftly, but not before extensive smoke and water damage was done to the home. While everyone is safe, their home has been temporarily rendered uninhabitable. Al, Rosemary, and their niece Jennifer Gowan are now in the process of trying to salvage their belongings and seek temporary lodging.
As in any fire or accident it will be some time before the full extent of the damage is known, and longer before anyone can be made whole. But for now there is an immediate need to cover the costs of bills and putting lives back together for Al, Rosemary and Jennifer.
This money will help pay for everyday items and the unexpected needs from getting back on your feet. The sooner we hit our goal, the sooner we can get this help to them.
Family, friends, colleagues old and new: please donate what you can to help my uncle, aunt and sister through this difficult time. Anything you can offer can make this process a little easier.
