Holy Name of Jesus Church Repairs

Holy Name of Jesus Church, with its lovely stone walls, original slate roof, stone steps, Marian garden, Heritage Room and community kitchen, has been serving the Fishtown community in various ways for over 120 years. It has nurtured and guided countless families, school students, community members and anyone who wishes to simply come in for peace or for help. We are blessed to have a tirelessly committed Priest with a very small staff, a large group of volunteers and dedicated parishioners who have managed to sustain and grow this loving and beautiful church community for many years. 

Holy Name of Jesus needs help to GROW and continue with building improvements. For years we have managed to fix both small and large capital improvements through fundraisers within the church community. Though now the issues need a more permanent solution, and that will cost far more than this humble church has. We are asking you to please consider donating any amount to help a community that serves so many. We want to continue to honor our history as well as serve far into the future.

Throughout our lives we need to be surrounded by truly selfless people, spiritual counsel, or simply a quiet space; Holy Name of Jesus Church is such a place.
