Home, apartment fire from lightning

My name is Cody Coleman and my family and I lost everything we owned in a recent fire after our building/roof was struck by lightning. My wife, godson,cat, and oldest sons girlfriend all made it out safe. While we had renters insurance, the coverage barely scratches the surface of losing a lifetime of memories and work. The coverage will also expire for hotel coverage before we expect to be back into an apartment, which is where the starting amount comes from. This has been a true nightmare. We are a rather prideful bunch and had no intentions of creating this, however, there has been an outreach of support and we feel this is the best vehicle for it.
