What Happened: On September, 27, Hurricane Helene dropped 20" of rain on Boone NC, in Western North Carolina. A large tree root slid down the mountain behind the house and slammed into the back corner, twisting it 15°, and pushing it off the foundation about 30'. It is sliding down the hill. No Landslide Insurance, leaving us with nothing!

Who Are We: Retired Homeowners, Meta Gatschenberger, RN (62) and Scott Richardson (66). This was our Full Time Home.
