Homes destroyed by Hurricane Baryl Carriacou Grenada

This GO FUND ME is being created on behalf of my husband Albert Allen and his family.

It is with heavy heart to announce my husband’s family was tremendously effected by Hurricane Beryl on July 1st 2024 when it tore through the island of Carriacou Grenada leaving a path of destruction.

Our family is in desperate need of help and are seeking household donations such as clothing, food and any type of financial assistance to help with the repairs and rebuilds of these homes.

There were 5 homes among the family.

4 were brick homes that the roofs were completely torn off, all windows and doors shattered and all household items were completely destroyed. The other home was made of wood that has been completely flattened and destroyed.

This hurricanes destruction has displaced 15 family members ranging in age from 4-72 that are all now homeless living with nothing but what they can salvage from the aftermath.

There is still currently no power and no way to maintain contact to know how everyone is doing on a daily basis.

We were able to touch base for a very short period of time with 2 different family member on 2 separate occasions and were told everyone is alive but they have lost everything and were struggling tremendously.

This being said we are arranging to purchase a shipping container and fill it with building supplies, household items and food.

At this point we do not know if or when any type of relief or financial aid will be given or offered and we are in no position to wait.
