Home going for Matt Ellison

As much as I hate to write this, I am saddened to say Matt Ellison passed away yesterday 07/08/2023. Matt was loved by so many. He was a resident of villa rica, Carrollton, and douglasville. He loved music, writing, photography, painting, and loved school where he also made presidents list his first semester of college. Matt also served in the United States Navy. He had a heart of gold and a laughter that would light up this world and I don’t know how this family would function without him. He is loved and loved back. Matt was diagnosed and suffered from schizophrenia, anxiety, and depression back in 2021 and he fought his battle for so long until he couldn’t anymore. Many suicidal attempts were made and thankfully unsuccessful. His last attempt was his final attempt and there was nothing anyone could do. He had an army behind him but his battle was far too difficult fight. He is not suffering anymore and I’m glad to hear stories of how he impacted so many lives. Unfortunately we thought he was getting better and did not have insurance on him and we would like to give him a proper and beautiful burial. Any amount will help bury Matt. Please keep our family in your prayers.
