Unexpected Death-Help support Demarris’s Family

We are deeply hurt and saddened to inform you that our beloved Demarris Johnson has suddenly passed away on February 8th, 2023 at the age of 30. He was a son, a brother, a uncle and friend to many. 

Demarris was a bright light and motivated his peers to do better. He had a charming personality with a funny sense of humor. Demarris had an exceptional way of interacting with people. He loved his family and friends. He would go above and beyond for them. Him being a victim to gun violence and being paralyzed at the age of 14 did not stop him. Even when he had to stay for weeks in the hospital at a time due to his circumstance he never complained. He never made excuses for himself and never gave up on himself or others. He will be greatly missed.

Demarris dreamed of one day becoming a husband and a father but his life was cut short and we are devastated by this loss. 

The family has banned together to give what everyone could for his funeral but unfortunately it is not enough to pay for his funeral, burial and headstone. We are currently requesting donations to help cover these expenses.

We need to raise the money in order to afford his funeral.
