Home Health Assistance for Sat Santokh Singh

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

Our beloved Sat Santokh was recently diagnosed with aggressive stage 4 cancer. He is undergoing chemotherapy treatment and we are feeling hopeful that it will help him feel better, and increase the amount of time that he can be with us. We are in the unknown, but also following his lead as he is certainly filled with an incredible energy to live and serve.

We are doing our best to create space for Sat Santokh and his wife Prabhu Nam Kaur to do the important work that this life journey is calling for, and so we are starting this GoFundMe campaign to help offset the immediate costs of all that they are dealing with, including facilitating in-home care assistance as he works to regain strength as much as possible from the disease and ongoing treatment. We would like them to have $7,500 per month for the next 8-10 months for a total of $75,000. We are setting the goal of this campaign to $85,000 to cover this and any other unanticipated expenses in the near future.

Sat Santokh has been an incredible teacher, friend, and healer for so many. From fighting to end the war in Vietnam to his work to help process and heal inner childhood wounds, he has worked tirelessly these last 60 years to serve the mission of peace on this planet. His work includes a social action training organization for high school students called Creating Our Future, where the initial Board members included Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Ram Dass and Joanna Macy. For everyone who has been touched or inspired by him, your support now will help ensure he can experience his remaining time with us with honor, grace, and ease.
