Home Lost in Alameda Fire in Phoenix, Oregon

My name is Lynda Stephens and I'm creating this 'gofundme page' for my younger brother, David LeRoy. Two days ago, on September 8th, David lost his home and all of his belongings in the Alameda Fire that started in Ashland, Oregon and travelled North towards Medford, Oregon.
David is 59 years old and lived in a mobile home. David's wife died five years ago and these past few years he has lived alone in his home. The mobile home he lived in was quite old and unfortunately he had no insurance on it. As you can imagine, losing your home and everything you own is devastating. In David's case it is compounded by the reality that he does not have the means to replace any of it.
My brother works at a local truck stop. He's worked there for many years now and he loves his job and his customers, but he makes only minimum wage. He was happy as he lives a fairly simple life and didn't have much in the way of needs - until now! My brothers and I are doing everything we can to help him out, but it's not enough. We would like for him to be able to buy a smaller mobile home. Additionally he will also need linens, dishes, appliances, furnishings AND clothing. We are able to provide living room and dining room furniture. He will still need bedroom furniture, a television and a washer and dryer. Cash donations will go a long way to replacing the necessities and providing him shelter.
The picture below is one of many taken in Phoenix, OR, where David lived. Every home in his mobile home park was a total loss. There was another 55+ mobile home park nearby that was also a total loss. So many people are suffering right now, not only in this area, but in all of Washington, Oregon and California due to hundreds of fires.
Our family would like to thank anyone who is able to contribute to this fund to help. There truly are no words that can express our heartfelt appreciation. We sincerely hope and pray that 2021 will be a much better year for everyone!
