Hi. I’m Jes and I am setting up the GoFundMe for my dear friends, Dan and Sogol, and their two beautiful children.

Dan and Sogol lost their home in Altadena in the terrible Eaton fire yesterday. They are amazing people and committed community members. If you know them personally, then you have certainly been invited into their warm and beautiful home for dinner, to play, to celebrate, to laugh. They have watched your kids after a baseball game or hosted a game night.

This wildfire came out of absolutely nowhere and after a 5 AM evacuation notice, they grabbed their go-bag, their children, and their animals and evacuated. Their house and everything in it is now completely gone.

Let’s give them some support while they figure out their next steps. Please pitch in whatever you can. I know many of us in Los Angeles have many friends who are in this terrible situation. Dan and Sogol will need temporary housing and the time to create a plan.

They need to purchase clothing, toys, kitchen essentials, furnish a new home- everything was lost.

Your donation will help them get back on their feet after this devastating blow.
