Full Time Medical Caregiver For Grandma Gloria

Dear Family, Friends & Community,

Anyone who knows Grandma Gloria ( Gloria Arellanes Tongva / Chicana elder ) knows what a kind, giving & thoughtful person she is. She is well known for being a community advocate for the poor, houseless, land/water, animals and of course human beings. She is a voice for the voiceless and advocated for those who could not do so themselves. In the early 70's she helped opened La Clinica Familiar del Barrio now known as AltaMed in East Los Angeles. Unfortunately little by little our beloved grandmother's health has been declining & grandma is now in need of around the clock health care. Although she does have health insurance, her coverage does NOT cover in home health care. We are reaching out to community in hopes we can raise enough funds to have a professional care giver with grandma full time. Please donate what you can & when you can. Our goal is to help grandma live the rest of her days at home, with dignity and as comfortable as possible. Thank you.
