Home of Jerry McKenzie Destroyed by Fire

Hi my name is Amy McKenzie I am creating this fundraiser for my father in law Jerry McKenzie and his wife Rose who on March 24th, 2024, Jerry was at home working on his prized Chevelle when it caught fire and quickly spread through the garage. It did not take long for the fire to engulf the rest of the home and unfortunately destroying it completely. Jerry received minor burns to his face, a burn to his arm, and was treated for smoke inhalation. We are beyond grateful he made it out safely and his wife was not home at the time of the fire. Jerry is a retired from Pepsi-Cola and is currently a Pastor in Johnson County, KY. He has a television program that serves the community on Wednesday nights. The McKenzie family have had so many recent tragedies with the loss of Jerry’s mother and his two daughter just a couple years ago. Unfortunately Jerry did not have home owners insurance on the house, so we have created this Go Fund Me as a family to help ease the financial burden he is currently going through. He and Rose have lost everything that was in the home. Jerry has lived in the home for over 40 years and raised his 4 children with his late wife Darlene in the home.
