Home Renovations to Restore Family Home

Doug and Pam Sterner have served their community in many ways over the decades. They helped make the city park rides free for all children one day a year, and because they believe in the children of Pueblo, they have brought in Medal of Honor Recipients for them to meet and have encouraged children to be a hero to someone by doing an unselfish act. They called national attention to their small hometown and created legislation, and even worked on creating databases to give well deserved recognition to our nation’s veterans. Pam even took on a career housing those veterans when they become homeless. Doug and Pam even provide entertainment to their local community in the forms of karaoke, comedy, and ventriloquism.

Now, Doug and Pam are needing to move into a home built in 1900 that Pam's mom owned. Major renovations are needed on the home including replacing broken windows, cabinets, and floors, painting, and repairing/replacing appliances, and fixing plumbing issues. Doug has done all of the labor on it so far and is in his 70s. All help is appreciated.

Pam was late off her job on July 26. They owe $2000 to catch the mortgage up which needs to be pId by August 24. They also need to fix the plumbing, lay flooring and paint one more room. This is expected to be around $2,000. Pam will apply for unemployment which takes several weeks. The Sterners have several copies of three of their books.
