About Us

We are Daniele Clements and Richard Cotta—two passionate filmmakers embarking on an exciting journey to create our debut short film, Home. This heartfelt story follows Grace, an aspiring fighter pilot determined to honor her father’s legacy. Home is a tale of family, resilience, and unwavering determination, set against the breathtaking backdrop of aviation.

Our production will take place at a small airfield in New South Wales, where we have exclusive access to hangars, aerobatic planes, and some of Australia’s most skilled pilots. Their expertise and support will help us bring this incredible vision to life with authenticity and passion.

With nearly two decades of combined experience in the film industry, we’ve had the privilege of learning from some of the best in the business. Our backgrounds span across various aspects of filmmaking, equipping us with the skills and dedication to make this project soar.

Home isn’t just a story about aviation. Richard and Daniele have spent over a year interviewing pilots and military personnel to capture what it truly takes to become a fighter pilot. But the research didn’t start there. Daniele’s father, a former pilot, inspired this journey. Growing up, she witnessed firsthand the dedication required to serve in the military and experienced the challenges faced by military families. With this story, we aim to honor both service members and their loved ones.
