Home Water Damage - Collapsed Roof

Hello! My name is James Cho. I am a teacher in Fairfax County.

Just recently, Angela and I put in all of our savings to purchase a home with plans to start a family. The only way this was possible was to buy a home “as-is” knowing we would have to do a lot of repairs ourselves. The inspector noted the roof is about 15 years old. So the roof was not in our immediate budget.

The previous owner neglected the property for several years. The home requires a lot of attention, repairs, and love. 

Following the first rainstorm on July 14, we noticed a lot of bubbling in the walls, damage to the ceiling, water in the electrical boxes, and tripping of the circuit breaker. The roof is faulty, has cracked seals, and needs immediate attention.
