Homegoing Celebration of Linda LeGrier
Donation protected
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of beloved mother, daughter, and sister Linda Ann LeGrier. Affectionately called "Lil' Linda", Linda's legacy is filled with the appreciation and devotion she had to her loved ones. Her compassion, thoughtful heart, and jovial spirit allowed her to be a beacon of light to those around her. She leaves behind her 5-year-old son and pride & joy, Josiah Keaton.
Linda lost her life at the tender age of 31 on June 25th, 2023, the same day as her mother's birthday. Linda was a victim of domestic violence, a story told far too often. Statistics show that 1 in 4 women (24%) aged 18 and older in the U.S. have been the victim of severe physical violence by an intimate partner. Intimate partner viloence alone affects more than 12 million people per year.
We are absolutely devastated to have lost a vibrant life in such an awful way. There are no words that can explain the grief and sorrow in our hearts. To honor her life, we want to give her a homegoing celebration that she deserves and to say our last goodbyes. Unfortunately, we were not prepared for the high cost associated that comes with burying her.
In this difficult time, we are reaching out for help. We are currently asking for donations to help with costs. Any amount will help out family in this difficult time.
With Love,
The LeGrier + Henry Family.
