Homegoing Service for Demiris Stokes

Our beloved Demiris “D” Richard Stokes left this world unexpectedly on June 5, 2022, at the young age of thirty-six. Demiris was a wonderful father, son, brother, and friend; he made a lasting impression on all those who knew him. Demiris leaves behind his children Aniyah, Destiny, DJ, his mother Adria, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Demiris was first and foremost an artist, and he showcased his craft in the form of tattoos. From a young age, he dreamed of using his art to make a living, and he was able to do so after relocating to North Carolina successfully.

We are devastated by Demiris’ loss. We were not prepared for the high funeral costs and the transport of his body to his hometown, Brooklyn, New York. We want to give Demiris the memorial he deserves to honor his memory and say our final goodbyes.
