Reaching The Homeless In Belfast - Sleeping Bags & Soup

My name is Ally and this is something close to my heart. As we all prepare for a season of blessing and family time, there are so many preparing to try to get through the cold and wet of the season.

These people, are homeless.

This year I want to make a difference

I am going to take hot soup and sleeping bags to the streets and although that won’t even begin to touch the issue, it’s going to provide a bit of momentary comfort this Christmas and winter time,

I have already asked as many of you as possible to donate sleeping bags that I can hand out, and it has been great and encouraging to get the responses from you guys, so thank you.

Quite a few of you have also asked how to donate to this, which is why I’m setting this up to allow you to.

All proceeds will go to providing sleeping bags and hot soup. On my Facebook page called Breaking Free Support Group, I will post updates of nights out and people reached

Any help and support will be warmly received

My own thoughts are that no one should be homeless in society today. Regardless of their struggles. But the fact remains they are there.

I used to do that too. Until I stopped to talk to them. There is a world of reasons for their lives ending up here,
