Homeless and unsupported queers
Tax deductible
Just a few kids want to make a difference, even if it's small. In Asheville NC there's a lot of homeless people, with almost 600 people by the end of 2023 . 8% of homeless people are transgender, and 3% are queer. And that is a whopping 17% of queer people! And this is because of unsupportive, non understanding parents. And to help these people, including non-queer homeless people, we want to raise money to give out bags with supplies such as blankets, canned food, deodorant, soap, free haircuts, feminine products, and old clothes such as jackets, socks, shirts, hats, gloves etc. And at our own school IC Imagine charter school we are starting a donation box for items to be donated, and with the money we will buy those things second hand. And half of the money will go to youth outright which is an amazing charity that directly helps support young queer people in help or community.
More on youth outright;
"Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Youth OUTright WNC, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
