Homeless Colin needed extensive dental surgery
Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Peggy and I have recently given a home to a tiny homeless Chihuahua with extensive oral and dental issues. His name is now Colin. He had such bad dental health that he had necrotic bone and soft tissue creating 2 holes in his soft palate that needed to be cleaned and fixed with grafts from his cheek. He has no teeth remaining, but he is no longer in the constant pain he was in before his surgery. After a visit to the Premier Emergency Vet and Veterinary Specialty Clinic, he eventually ended up with the wonderful people over at Veterinary Dental Center in Aurora, IL. After years of rescuing animals and helping other rescues do the same, I am having to ask for help, as this was a very expensive ordeal. All funds raised will go to pay off Colin's dental surgery. I appreciate anything you can give. Every dollar will help.
Thanks so much!
UPDATE 11/30
Colin is doing well. He is playing with the other dogs, and he has finished all his meds. I don't think he has much pain any longer, and he is a happy little guy.
