HOMELESS FAMILY DA
Donation protected
My family and I are on a journey to get out of homelessness. My name is Rosa Hernandez and I live in Kissimmee. My children Dylan and Aren are 5 and 8-years-old. I wish I could give them all they ask me for but the reality is far from that.
Before all of this happened I used to stay in Dominican Republic. My kids was born there... I was there approximately like almost 10 years I loved that country so much but the thing is something tragic happened and my kids father passed away and I had to come back to the United States.
It's been very difficult for me these past couple of months due to the pandemic of the Coronavirus. I lost my job... I can't pay my rent and know where I was staying at motel which it was a long-term thing.
I lived at the Star Motel for almost a year. Long term living in hotels is common here in Osceola County, due to the lack of affordable housing. Everyday expenses make it hard to save up enough to transition out of the hotel lifestyle. Houses and apartments ask for a security deposit, first and last month's rent... Something that is basically impossible, especially now during this pandemic.
Right now, Star Motel has no power or water due to unpaid bills by the owner but I managed to get out of there.
I don't want to keep telling my kids we have bad luck. Please help me obtain the push needed to drive ourselves out of this dark hole.
If this dark hole doesn't improve we're going to end up living in the streets. I know people only help each other when they see you at your worst and at the bottom. We might just end up sleeping on the bench in the park. People will walk by and not really care because they would rather see you at your lowest.
I know there's good people out there cuz I met a couple and I know that God going to get me through this hard time. I pray every day for me and my children safety and if you have the heart to help us please do so.

Anything is appreciated.
