Homeless Thanksgiving Outreach

As the holidays approach we are mindful of the less fortunate in the communities that we serve & we look too help bring them joy & love. For the 2nd year the 5th Ave. Church of God family will be giving up our Thanksgiving Day & spending it feeding the countless number of homeless people that are in the community. Through our efforts last year we fed over 300 people & provided shoes, socks, coats, haircuts & hygiene products to many others.  We are hoping that the larger community of kind-hearted people will join with us & support our efforts.  Any doantion given will go directly to the purchase of food, and other supplies/needs that will be used or distributed to the homeless on Thursday November 23rd from 11 AM through 3 PM.  Our event will take place on Park & E125th St. Under the Metro North train station, so you can come & volunteer your time if you are so inclined.  I ask that you thoughtfully consider helping us in our efforts to help the homeless.  Thank you in advance & God Bless you.
