Homeless Vet and his dog Max - David Sickles
Donation protected
As an Army vet myself, after meeting Dave and getting to know him, I have found him to be sincere, determined to become a contributing member of society and self sufficient. Being an Army vet himself, he just needs some compassionate folks to get him over the hump- he's doing whatever he can on his own through the VA, looking for a place to call home with his loving companion Max, And living day to day from whatever folks can spare- he' not an alcoholic or drug user nor a felon. He takes full responsibility for the situation he created for himself. He's had tragic setbacks in his life, yet wants to turn those into positives. You may have seen him off exit 289, rt95 north in Palm Coast.. Always with his dog Max under the umbrella, smiling, friendly, and sincerely thankful. The funds raised will help him with needed car repairs, registration/title change, food for him and Max, gas to get to job interviews, deposit/security for an apartment (actively looking) and to cover rent (he's staying at a daily condo at $55/night when he can afford it - or sleeping in the car) until he can find a permanent home- I'm one vet being an advocate for another who wants to turn the corner, much appreciated - duty honor country! Give him a hand please...
