Homes for Heroes K9 Fundraiser

Colorado Springs Homes for Heroes Affiliates and our community partners are raising $85,000 to care for 23 K9 police officers in Colorado Springs and the surrounding communities. It costs approximately $3500 per K9 for care for one full year.  We are currently sponsoring a fundraiser, Homes for Heroes Community Cares Event, to benefit these K9 officers from the Colorado Springs Police Department, El Paso County Sheriff’s Department, Fountain Police Department and Woodland Park Police department.  This fundraising event will include a pet-friendly 5k run, K9 demonstrations, local vendors, silent auction, local celebrities, and much, much more.
