Hi, my name is Alan and I am trying to raise funds to keep HomeTown Video in Brookville alive. We are one of the last video stores anywhere in Indiana, possibly the very last. We have had many hardships in the past few years that have really hurt us financially, and though we don't employ many people, it is a struggle to even make payroll. I have not taken a paycheck in a long time myself.

HomeTown Video has been in business for 16 and a half years, and there has been a video store in this location since the mid-1980s. We try our best to provide special services to people that arent available anywhere else, like where can you get help with your video game machines, players, or dozens of other things we do. Not everyone in our community has internet, or good internet, so everyone is able to rent movies & games or buy them from us. I feel it's important to a lot of people in our community that we can stay here and do what we do, and while we get told this all the time, I hope that people feel the same way and can help out financially.

Any funds raised go to keeping HomeTown Video in business, paying the payroll and keeping the lights on, as well as keeping a roof over my head. I have some lifelong severe health conditions and HomeTown Video is the only job I have been able to do for many years. I have a very hard time asking anyone for help, and never imagined I would make a fundraiser just to survive, but here we are, and again, any help is appreciated.
