Honduras Building Mission 2019

We are a team of 24 (give or take) that travel to Honduras each summer that visits a children's home where we do construction work to accommodate all of the children who have been abused or abandoned by their parents.  In the past we have built a school, residential cabins, a church, a multi-purposed recreational field, a kitchen/laundry facility, and a security fence.  Due to an influx of newborn babies discarded (7 in the past month) that have arrived at this children's home, it appears as though we will be assisting in building a new residential cabin for newborns in the summer of 2019.  

Everyone travels at their own expense, which is approximately $1800.  Some do fundraising, some pay it outright.  We all find it extremely worthwhile to pay it as we are going to visit with these children and let them know we love them.  If we can get 3800 people to donate $10 each, we will have everything we need to be able to go, and help these children.  We work with a parent organization called LAMB (www.lambinstitute.org).  We thank you for your support!  Yes, I am the organizer, and I am the team leader .
