HONDURAS DIRECT RELIEF - HURRICANE ETA 2020

On November 3rd of 2020, Honduras was hit by Hurricane ETA - leaving innumerable damages, human losses and floods in its wake.
In the absence of a formal evacuation program from the government, many people were trapped in the floods, forcing them to spend several nights on their roof waiting for help... still continues.

- More than 1.6 million people have been affected.
- $5 Billion USD estimated total damage.
- "If we do not act soon, Honduras will be plunged into poverty, according to estimates by FOSDEH, it would increase to 75% of the 9.5 million inhabitants"
As reported by Anabel Gallardo, President of FENAGH...
- 378,000 acres of crops were affected.
- 132,000 gallons of milk have been lost.
Plus, Covid-19 in 2020 has affected Honduras with,
- 2,700 deaths.
- More than 100,000 infections.
- $7.5 Billion USD estimated on losses.
