Honor a Legacy: Support Pancreatic Cancer Research
Tax deductible
My name is Michael Kostiw, a 20-year-old college student in Central New York. If you know me, you may or may not know that my father, also Michael Kostiw, passed away in March of 2024, following a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and succumbing to complications from it.
It's been 6 months without my Dad, and yesterday, October 1st, would've been his 76th birthday. My father was a jovial and comedic man. He had no problem talking to anyone and everyone about anything. He was also a super caring, compassionate, selfless, and charitable man. He was a generous and charitable man who I remember always donating throughout my entire life to various organizations, causes, communities, and people. He instilled in me to be a generous and charitable person.
I want to raise money and awareness for pancreatic cancer research and treatment, a cause that I now hold very dear to me, to honor and remember my Dad through charitable action. He was a selfless man; this is what he would have wanted. This fundraiser is for me to carry on his legacy of selflessness and charity. To show and prove that I can do something.
This fundraiser is primarily for friends and family of my father and me to show support, but if it manages to reach others, that would be amazing.
