Honor Barbara's Memory: Help Her Family to take her home.

Hello to all! I am helping Yolanda Salinas to raise the funds needed to take her daughter, Barbara Salinas Hornquist, from Dallas to Temple, TX, to be buried in their family plot next to Barbara’s father and sister, Manuel and Veronica Salinas.

Barbara had an episode of heart failure about 12 years ago and had been diligently watching her health and had gotten stronger. This past Saturday, with no warning at all, her heart stopped again. This time they were not able to revive her.

Barbara's mom is devastated, as we all are. Most of you, as friends or family, knew my friend Barbara through me. She was only 56.

They need the help! Yolanda Salinas is a hardworking, wonderful woman who has recently retired after running the office of a car dealership for 20 years in Temple, TX. Due to an accident on I-35 in Temple, she has just buried her youngest daughter and will be raising her grandson. Now, with Barbara’s sudden death, the entire family is in shock, but Yolanda is at risk for mental and physical exhaustion.

This is a good woman who cares so much about bringing home her first daughter to be laid to rest with her family.

No one promised this life would be easy, but it does not have to be this hard!

There are miracles still if we choose to see,

To dream that dream then let go and believe.

I know so many of you out there understand the situation, and I know together we can get this done! Little by little, let’s do this.
