Brien VanSchoick Volleyball Referee Memorial Scholarship

In Honor of Brien VanSchoick’s life, the family is creating the Brien VanSchoick Volleyball Referee Memorial Scholarship. Brien was deeply loved by his family, and friends. In honor of him, this scholarship will go to graduating seniors from Newaygo county schools (Michigan) who would like to pursue becoming a high school volleyball referee. The scholarship will offset startup costs such as training and equipment.

He dedicated 35 years as a high school sports official inspiring his granddaughters to share his passion. Brien gave of himself without hesitation whenever his kids or grandkids needed him. Brien's kind spirit, unwavering commitment to his family, and love for life will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
