Honor Caden's Legacy: Donate to Vocational Scholarship Fund
Donation protected
On Saturday, July 13, 2024, Caden Blumenshine was out doing what he loved most: spending time with friends, riding bikes, and working on trucks. He was on his way to meet his friends when he was involved in a fatal dirt bike accident. Despite the best efforts of the medical team at Wake Medical Center, they were not able to save him. He became one of heaven's angels at 6:03pm. He was surrounded by family and friends, and there was no doubt that he was a well-loved son, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Caden was well-known in the community for his infectious love and kindness to everyone that he met. He was always willing to be the first to lend a hand and bring others together.
Caden loved motorcycles, four-wheelers, and most of all, his bright red truck, Clifford. His hobbies included working on anything that had an engine and detailing them to perfection. Caden was an avid fan of classic cars and often attended Cars and Coffee throughout Wake County on any given Saturday morning. He may have been the youngest attendee, but easily related to his fellow car enthusiasts. He had recently started a summer job that he loved at Agri-Supply in Garner.
Caden was a rising senior at South Garner High School where he was a member of Future Farmers of America (FFA). He had plans after high school to attend a vocational program to continue to develop his knowledge and skills as a diesel mechanic.
In order to continue to keep Caden’s dream alive and honor him, a scholarship fund will be set up in his honor to support other graduating high school students in their pursuit of a trade/vocational degree. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to this GoFundMe page to support the Caden Blumenshine Vocational Scholarship Fund.
Thank you all for your support of food, prayers, and comforting words during this difficult time.
