In Loving Memory of Calvin Jones - A Husker Legend

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of Calvin Jones, beloved father, son, brother, and a true Husker Legend. On January 22, 2025, Calvin was found by the Omaha Police Department in his home, leaving behind a deep loss for all who knew and loved him.

Calvin's legacy extends beyond his athletic achievements; he was a devoted family man, leaving behind his mother, father, sister, brother, and his cherished son’s and daughter. His passing has left an enormous hole in our hearts, and we are asking for your help as we navigate the funeral and burial arrangements.

The family is seeking support to cover the initial burial costs, as we work to honor Calvin's memory and give him the respectful farewell he deserves. The Thomas Funeral Home in Omaha, Nebraska, will be hosting Calvin's wake, and his homegoing services will take place at Salem Baptist Church on February 4, 2025.
