Honor Candace Espinal-Kauffman's Memory
Donation protected
It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart to share the unexpected passing of my beloved sister, Candace Espinal-Kauffman. Candace was not just an incredible ICU nurse at Methodist Hospital; she was the light in every room she entered. Her smile and laughter were infectious, and her warmth drew everyone to her.
To me, she was my first best friend—the person that I grew up alongside with, my protector, my strength, my ride or die. No matter the obstacle, big or small my sister was always there front and center ready for anything. She taught me how to be strong, be loving and kind and have compassion for others. She was one of the most generous people you will ever meet. She would give her shirt off her back to anyone that needed it, no questions asked. Candace touched countless lives, not only through her dedication to caring for patients but also through her kindness, generosity, and boundless love for those around her.
Candace leaves behind her loving husband, Matt Kauffman and beautiful 1 year old daughter, Avery Kauffman. As we navigate this unimaginable loss, we are humbly reaching out for support to honor Candace’s memory. Donations will be used to cover the costs of her funeral service and celebration of life event that will reflect and honor the joy and love she brought to everyone she met.
No amount is too small, and every contribution will help us create a beautiful farewell for Candace. If you are unable to donate, we would deeply appreciate it if you could share this page with others who may have known or been touched by her.
Thank you for your love, support, and for keeping Candace’s memory alive in your hearts.
