Honor Christie Daniels' Legacy of Love
Donation protected
Christine Daniels passed away on December 13, 2024, leaving behind a beautiful family and a legacy of kindness, generosity, and advocacy for those who needed it most.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, Eddie Daniels; her three children, Johnny Chase (Kayla), Abby Daniels, and Anna Grace Daniels; her father-in-law, Kenneth Daniels; her sister-in-law, Linda Daniels; her grandchild, Grady Chase; “chosen” nieces, three nephews, and cousins; and a whole lot of “chosen” family.
She was a lifelong learner and a fierce advocate for kids. She accomplished much in her life, such as receiving her doctorate in Adult Education from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1993 and being awarded the 2004 Mississippi Teacher of the Year Award while in the Picayune School District, where she worked with students who benefitted from her wisdom, knowledge, and empathic spirit. She loved her jobs as both a librarian at Hattiesburg High School and as a part-time professor at William Carey University. She was beloved by her students and coworkers. She helped many students who were in need and encouraged them to do their best in school.
She was a life changer, a wonderful mother, an amazing wife, a proud grandmother, an adoring aunt, a fantastic educator, a devoted friend, and she always saw the best in everyone that she ever met. To know her was to be impacted and influenced by her greatness, and to be loved by her was a privilege felt by all.
Please consider honoring Christie's life and legacy by making a contribution to this memorial fund.
All contributions will go directly to support her children and grandchildren.
