Honor Cody Johnson: Donate to Music Scholarship in His Name
Donation protected
Our beautiful son, Cody Robert Wright Johnson, passed away on December 13th, 2024, after battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), at the age of 16. To get a glimpse of Cody's fight against ALL, visit his IG page: @codyjohnsonstrong. Cody was a junior at Clovis High School in Clovis, California. Cody wanted to study Marine Biology in college and upon graduation he planned to join the teams fighting to save the coral reefs. Cody loved music and was a proud member of the Clovis High School Marching Band, Winter Percussion, and Concert Band, where he played many percussion instruments, but loved the vibraphone and marimba. Therefore, Cody's parents, Dara and Matthew Johnson, want to raise enough money to start a college scholarship fund in honor of Cody. They would like to choose a well deserving member from each of the Clovis High School and Hoover High School Marching Bands, on an annual basis to receive a scholarship. Dara and Matthew ask that in lieu of sending flowers or meals for the family, you donate to the Cody Johnson Strong Marching Band Scholarship Fund. Cody would have been proud and honored to know that his short life of just 16 years inspired a scholarship fund that would assist young music lovers, like himself, with some of the financial burdens of attending college. Please make a donation to assist Cody's family in reaching their goal.
