Deacon Shed, a leader at Empowerment Ministries Christian Center in Gulfport, epitomized the virtues of a hero, displaying selfless courage and bravery that ultimately saved others from harm. He paid the ultimate price for his valor, and we are deeply saddened by this loss.

A Loving Family Man

Deacon Shed leaves behind his devoted wife, Doris, and their cherished children: Jaylen, Kaleb, and KaMya. He is also survived by his loving mother, Patricia Shed, and his siblings: Neloise (Derrick), Bill (Victoria), Tanny (Miranda), Roderick, Douglas, Gregory, Patrick, and Billy Dee. His family and friends grieve this profound loss, and our hearts go out to them during this difficult time.
