Queridos amigos y familiares de Doris Jiménez,

Con profundo dolor compartimos la noticia del fallecimiento de nuestra querida Doris Jiménez. Doris era una amiga querida, una persona perseverante con una gran sonrisa y una madre que amaba a su hijo con todo su corazón.

Mientras todos lamentamos esta increíble pérdida de nuestra comunidad y de su hijo Yahir, también reconocemos que el dolor no es sólo nuestro. La madre de Doris está en México y no ve a su hija desde hace 23 años. Doris es su segunda hija que muere a causa de la diabetes. Para apoyar su dolor, estamos trabajando para traer su cuerpo de regreso a México, donde descansará junto a su hermana. Este proceso conlleva gastos importantes y nos estamos acercando a nuestra comunidad para obtener apoyo durante este momento difícil.

Hemos creado este GoFundMe para cubrir los costos asociados con la repatriación de los restos de Doris y los servicios funerarios. Cada contribución, por pequeña que sea, irá directamente a garantizar que Doris reciba la despedida respetuosa y amorosa que se merece.

Si no puede contribuir económicamente, la familia pide sus oraciones.

Dear Friends and Family of Doris Jimenez,

It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Doris Jimenez. Doris was a cherished friend, a persevering individual with a huge smile, and a mother who loved her son with her whole heart.

As we all grieve this incredible loss to our community and to her son Yahir, we also recognize that the grief is not only our own. Doris’ mother is in Mexico and has not seen her daughter in 23 years. Doris is her second daughter to be lost to diabetes. To support her grief, we are working to bring her body back to Mexico, where she will be laid to rest beside her sister. This process comes with significant expenses, and we are reaching out to our community for support during this difficult time.

We have set up this GoFundMe to cover the costs associated with repatriating Doris’s remains and the funeral services. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward ensuring Doris receives the respectful and loving farewell she deserves.
