Honor Dy Chhim's Legacy: Funeral Support Needed

To our friends and family,

Our dear grandmother, Dy Chhim, passed away in her home Monday afternoon on September 23rd, 2024, as she was dealing with many health issues in her final year of her life. Born on April 5th, 1941, she escaped Cambodia during the 70s, a time when the country was in turmoil during the Vietnam War, with her husband and daughter and arrived in the States as a refugee.

After settling down in Long Beach, California, she spent more than the last thirty years of her life helping raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Our grandmother is survived by her grandchildren: Kevin, Kera, Sovanna, David, Stephany, and Christina, as well as her great-grandchildren: Savina, Sonida, Mila, Liam, and Jayden. Her favorite pastimes included playing card games, gambling, and watching Cambodian and Thai TV dramas.

We want to give our grandmother, Dy Chhim, the memorial she deserves to honor her memory and say our final goodbyes. We are humbly asking our friends and families for donations to help cover the cost of our grandmother's funeral service. As our family also recently lost our mother three months ago, any donation will help alleviate the financial strain our family is facing at this time.
