Have you ever wanted to help someone who is homeless but you weren't sure what to do? Our daughter, Elizabeth Marie Torres, was homeless for many years and died recently on the street. She had tried to get help but there are not good resources where we live and she never found the help she needed. We are trying to raise money to give her a decent resting place and a headstone that honors the loving person she was. We are not a wealthy family and we always struggled to help our daughter. This is something we can do to honor her—and, by extension, honor others like her who are often overlooked.
