Honor Ernie Hume: Memorial Fund for a Father & Grandfather
Donation protected
It’s with great sadness that I share, my father Ernest E Hume II passed on July 26th, 2024.
”Ernie” was a Vietnam Vet who loved his country, his family, and friends.
He never let his paralysis stop him from doing what he wanted.
Ernie enjoyed riding and did so even after his accident. He rode with the Tenino Drill Team, and loved bikes since a young age.
He was a stubborn, hard-willed man, with a gentle heart; especially for his 5 grandchildren.
After his disability, Ernie worked hard within the DAV, helping others with their benefits.
He was quick to lend an ear. And if you gave him yours, he would talk it off.
His humor and sometimes sarcastic responses is what made him loved by all.
Unfortunately my father did not have his Cremation/memorial planned or paid. Aside from knowing his wishes/wants, I’m left with all financial responsibilities.
I'm asking for friends and loved ones of my father, to please come together so I can lay him to rest at Cold Creek Ridge.
Your donations will cover memorial expenses, including the cost of the service, cremation, and support for our grieving family.
Lastly I will ask to cover our family in prayers. His 5 grandchildren are broken, as is my wife and I.
Thank You
