Honor Fire Fighter in your Life - Big and Small!  Help Upgrade the Fire Safety Systems at St Peter's School

Though the school year has come to an end, St. Peter's School in San Francisco's Mission District is busy planning for next fall.

While close to 80% of students have returned for in-person instruction, ALL will be here in the fall. And we want to guarantee that the building is SAFE for their return.

The SF Fire Department has recommended that St. Peter's School upgrade the fire alarm and fire sprinklers systems. Because our fundraising has been focused on providing tuition assistance and other opportunities for our students, these safety systems have been maintained but not upgraded since 1965. 

Now is the time! We are more than halfway to the $88,000 goal. While we keep looking for grant money, there are no guarantees. We must ask friends of the School and supporters of Education and Children to get involved.

You can help by donating during our St. Peter's Day of Giving Campaign to raise $7,500 toward upgrading these Fire Safety Systems. Gifts that total $250 or more will be listed on a plaque in the School's lobby! Perhaps there’s a firefighter in your life whom you would like to honor in this way. The campaign ends June 29, 2021.
