Honor Fran DiNardo: Donate Cozy Blankets for Chemo & Care
Donation protected
For the one year anniversary of my mom's passing from cancer, I would like to raise money to buy blankets for people going through chemotherapy or for people recovering at a care facility. My mom had 8 rounds of all-day chemo and immunotherapy and always loved when I bought her a fluffy, soft cuddly blanket to put on her lap and make her comfortable during her treatment. Those blankets also followed her to the nursing home where she spent many days recovering. My mom loved her nurses at chemotherapy in Grove City and the staff at the local care facility and I thought she would love the idea of others being comforted like she was in similar situations.
On Saturday, July 20th, I will walk 20 miles from my home in Grove City to her graveside at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Hermitage in HER honor. This past year has been dark for us and it's time to remember that my mom Fran made life beautiful for so many and it's time to keep doing her work. I haven't been to her grave since we buried her a year ago and I feel like it's time, and this walk in her honor would make her smile. I am asking for you to donate to this GoFundMe as 100% of the donations will go to the purchase of the blankets that will be packaged and delivered by her family with love.
