Hi family and friends, on July 19th, Frank Saldivar also known as” Papa” has passed away at the age of 73. He had been battling cancer and passed away in his sleep surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren. Frank has always put his family first, and fought so hard to be here. This is a very hard and challenging time for the family and we want to make sure we give him a proper funeral, we are asking for a donation or even a share of this post, we are eternally grateful for all the prayers, & the calls checking up on our beloved Frank. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate through this difficult time. We truly appreciate everything and Frank would to.
Frank Saldivar was born on May 5th, in 1951 Fresno, CA. He grew up with his 11 brothers & sisters. Frank met his wife Judith Saldivar “Honey” and had 4 children; Lina, Sunshine, Frank Jr, Elvis (Joey) who later gave him 10 grandchildren & blessed with 7 great grandchildren. At the age of 25, he then joined the United States Air Force and was a dedicated Veteran with 35yrs of service. Frank was the Senior Master Sergeant and was a brilliant airplane mechanic who built two from scratch. He was also the owner of Saldivar Auto Body for over 20 years with the help of his sons and grandsons. He had the privilege and expertise to work on hot rods and put custom cars in magazines. He enjoyed playing his guitar and was a master guitarist. Thank you for your generosity and empathy.
