Honor Gonzales Williams Jr.: Support Funeral Costs
Donation protected
Hi everybody my name is Candice I’m 26 years old I’m a mom of 3 children ages 6, 5 & 1. I’m the oldest sister on my father’s side to 2 younger sisters ages 18 & 21. All of us are enrolled in college as well as putting ourselves through school ( nursing, radiology and criminal justice majors. In May I left my home where my father resided with me due to health issues related to black mold infestation on the property. In that time of trying to relocated my father and children my father went to the hospital for a headache and was diagnosed with 3 stage 4 cancers in July ( Lung, kidney & liver). He was given 32 months to live, the doctors “ saw fit “ to start chemo on my father in which he began to immediately decline after treatment began. My father’s spine was broken as well as had a tumor in his arm that was some how missed. So the hospital keeps discharging my father back home to us his body was weaken, he lost feeling in his right side, we get him BACK to the hospital and they notify of us of what was missed and the tumor in his arm caused the paralyzing on his right side along with his back being broke ( not knowing ) still walking traveling on his own etc. Fast forward October 21st the doctors told us he has 6 months to live, and they don’t think they chemo is helping him but more so it hurt him by killing the good cells he did have left prior to the start of the chemotherapy. As well as him only being about 50-60 pounds and they still went through with a radiation treatment on him after they already decided that the chemo was too much for his weak body… Friday October 25th 2024 they labeled my father as hospice and Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday October 29th my father asked for my children all day, I left my mothers home for 1 hour to go pick my daughter up to go see him, on my route back my children rode the school bus to my mothers home and once they said goodbye to my dad he coded right there in my mothers living room, I never made it back in time to say goodbye to my dadddy ….. My Dad just turned 61 on 10/11/24 Way too young to die. My youngest sister just graduated high school. Now he will never seen any of his daughters graduate. My father is a 30 year BEAR STERNS / JPMORGAN Chase stock broker, hard worker, ball player, loyal, provider, family man, the best daddy I could ever need! My father had a life insurance policy that along with some family issues out of my control the policy lapsed. & Upon trying to get a policy for my dad after finding out his insurance was no longer active he was already sick. As I stated I am only 26 with 3 children and his other children as still babies !!!! I don’t have much saved up for funeral costs due to the unexpected tragedy’s but I would love to be able to have a burial service to honor my father and the man that he was to me and my siblings as well as many others lives he touched.
