Hello all.

I am Linnet, Greg K. Walker Jr's mother.

It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that I have to share the unexpected passing of my only son, Gregory K Walker Jr, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. *03/15/1990-07/17/2024*, 34 years old.

Greg was a devoted son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, and friend. Everyone loved Greg's humor, athletic abilities, and gentle inner soul. He was fortunate to have met many people and make new lifelong friends as he traveled. He is so loved and deeply missed as he embarks on his soul's next journey.

Along with all of the emotional pain, sadness, and stress that death brings. Greg's passing also brings financial burdens and responsibilities. I am raising money for Greg's final expenses and to raise awareness for people suffering thru mental health and addiction issues - those who are our most vulnerable and whose voices are seldom heard. Some of my expenses include travels to Greg's home, final services, grief therapy, non-paid bereavement weeks from my job, and lawyer fees. Greg’s passing was not only heartbreaking and unexpected; but with it brings questions and investigations. I am seeking justice and a tribute for Greg Jr. Remember this is not only for Greg; it's also for everyone who does & has suffered from mental illnesses and/or addictions, and their loved ones. Especially those who seek help and are still let down. Unfortunately our society treats many beautiful people as throw away souls.

Having so much love and support pouring in, and many generous people wanting to help my tiny family, Greg, and also his community. GoFundMe seems the best way to allow for everyone's needs to be met at this time.

It is in our times of sadness, loss, and heartbreak that people come together, help one another, and lift each other up. Any support your heart tugs on you to provide will be greatly appreciated.
